See how Thai farmers of old used buffalo power in the preparation of the ground, and then get back to basics to discover other traditional steps in the labour intesive rice making process of old. You will also learn about traditional Thai houses. For example, the wooden house at the end of the rice field is typical of the abode of a poor family so the construction is very simple. Built from expensive wood with clay tiles on the roof, Grand Sriprachan House, on the other hand, is typical of the home of a more well-off family. During the day, you will also have the opportunity to learn about various other unique Thai customs before finishing with a Thai cooking class.
